Sarah’s Nutrition Philosophy:

Nutrition is more than a professional field to me – it’s my passion. Nutrition allows me to make a positive impact on others, helping them live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives! This is because what you put in your body has a profound effect on physical, mental and emotional health. Proper nutrition is capable of enhancing many aspects of life: self-image, energy levels, longevity, and overall well-being. Of course, a solid nutrition plan is also the foundation of any effective fitness program. You cannot maximize your results without properly fueling your body.

In my experience, what works for one person doesn’t work for everyone. That is why each nutrition plan I create is completely customized to the individual. I begin with a thorough understanding of your starting point, taking into consideration your specific fitness goals, body type, health issues, schedule, budget, food preferences, cooking abilities, and your personal history with food and dieting. I have experience working with eating disorders, thyroid and adrenal issues, diabetes, food allergies, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, as well as various dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, Paleo, etc.)

I emphasize whole foods readily found at grocery stores over costly shakes and supplements. That being said, supplements can be beneficial for maximizing performance and providing nutrients that may be lacking in the diet. I am happy to recommend and integrate supplements as fitting to your goals.

Anyone who comes to me for help can expect friendly one-on-one support, weekly check-ins, utmost professionalism, and respectful confidentiality on my part. It’s been my experience that accountability, encouragement, and motivation can have just as much to do with a client’s success as a perfect meal plan, so that’s what I provide my clients. My goal is to see YOU succeed! If you are not getting the results you want, I will work with you until you are.

Long-term health remains my primary concern over immediate results. I strive to provide only science-based information to my clients and help them establish eating habits to continue a healthy lifestyle “post-diet.” I strongly believe that food is meant to be enjoyed and life is to short to make excuses!
